Interesting to note that no one has commented on how belts have performed after a good amount of service. Any belts will perform well initially. The reality is that these belts have about one fifth of the service life of a quality belt. Mine came apart after less than one season of mowing. That would be fine for me if they were one fifth the price of a good belt, but they are not. I routinely buy cheap stuff and usually get away with it. Not this time. Recommend you save yourself the time and money and just go buy your belts at Tractor Supply.

This quality belt is as good as the original, and about one third the price.

Ordered this on a Thursday afternoon. I was shipped very quickly. I received it on Monday. Best price out there. A belt is a belt. Lets see how long it lasts.

I've been reading the mixed reviews on belt quality. I expect to get from 100-150 hours out of a belt. I replace both mower deck belts 174368/174369 during the same season. I purchased my 1st set from Sears. They lasted almost 2 seasons (around 100 hours). I just installed new belts this season. They have already seen alot of abuse due to extremely high/wet grass. Most belts that break prematurely, break because of 1 of 2 reasons: neglect, due to heavy build-up on the top and/or bottom of the mower deck. Wet grass built up on the bottom creates extra work for the mower/drive belts. Heavy grass build-up on the top of the deck pushes the belt upward, not allowing it to track properly. Clean your mower deck after each use especially if you are mowing high grass. This will extend the life of your belts. The second cause is (1) mechanical misalignment or (2) binding due to not being lubricated (my deck has grease fittings) in either case the mower deck will need to be removed and inspected for damage. You should get 1-2 seasons (100+ hours) out of a any belt with proper preventative maintenance. I will update this if necessary.

I guess you get what you pay for...broke after about 4 hours of use. I will say that I was mulching LONG grass so there was a lot of strain on the belt, but the belt that came with the tractor handled the same type of mowing for 2 years!

Replacement Belt for Husqvarna tractor was the right belt as described. Belt fit and performed as well as the original for 1/3 the price of a Sears replacement belt.
